For sale are fireplace mantle shelf made from oak. Each shelf is planed, sanded down and finished using a clear Briwax.
We always try to use the best wood we can, however, please be aware that oak timbers come with knots and cracks that gives each piece their unique characteristics (these are generally filled with an epoxy resin/epoxy putty).

We do not produce the shelf brackets but we work with companies that do. This is for raw steel brackets only.

Please note lip up brackets and lip down brackets on the drop down menu are for brackets only, no boards will be supplied.
All timber is dried to a moisture content of 10% or less, this will hopefully stop the wood from bowing/splitting or cracking. It is up to the buyer to ensure the product is kept oiled and not exposed to water as well as being kept in a moisture free and stable environment regarding heat. A full set of maintenance/care instructions will be emailed over upon dispatch, please also get in touch if you require any further assistance regarding the product as we want you to get many years use out of it.
PLEASE NOTE:
NO FIXINGS ARE SUPPLIED WITH THE ORDER, please let me know if you need and what type of material you will be fixing to ie plasterboard, timber, brick, tile etc.

Please note that there are postage/delivery surcharges to certain areas. Please see the map in the images. Anything which is not RED will incur additional fees. Please note that these fees are applicable to certain postcodes in London too. Please enquire prior to ordering.
Please note that our current collection is once per week, for bulky items. Bulky items are usually dispatched within 7 working days after collection dependent on the delivery location. Orders going to areas which have surcharges may take longer than the average 7 working days. Please would you be so kind as to supply a mobile telephone number for the courier, along with an email address you check regularly. If there is a safe place for it to be left, please do list it in the space provided on ordering. We will then relay this information on to the courier company.
Please be aware that should you miss your allocated and arranged delivery with the bulky goods courier company, and should a leave safe place not have been named/disclosed, the item will be returned to the depot in Wolverhampton, and a second delivery charge will be payable by you prior to the courier company rearranging delivery to you.
